why reflexology?
Reflexology West Bridgford Nottingham Benefits of reflexology

Reflexology is a very relaxing, non-intrusive treatment. All you need to do is take your shoes and socks off and rest on the heated and super comfy treatment table.  Reflexology has a number of general benefits including:

  • releases stress

  • improves sleep

  • eases aches

  • improves your mood

At your first appointment we will talk about your health and any medical conditions you have or if anything is concerning you. Then you will enjoy a very relaxing full treatment which works the reflexes of the whole body. As a Level 5 Practitioner I will then tailor your subsequent treatments to the reflexes which will most benefit you and the aims for your treatment whether that is 'just to relax' or to help find balance in other areas of your body.

Research continues to find positive results for reflexology, although more is always needed. Below is a list of research for various medical concerns where reflexology has proved to be helpful.

If you are not sure whether reflexology is suitable for you, then please do get in touch and I'd be happy to have a chat with you. Sometimes simple relaxation is key to helping us deal with the daily stressors of life and even more extreme situations. If you are currently dealing with very high stress levels then I would recommend a NEPIP treatment which works both feet at the same time and aims to bring balance and enhance communication between the systems of the body which are affected during stress.
